I call these the Game of Cute. There were SO much fun to do. All of the crests feature the House saying in Latin (And before you call me out on details, the Lannister saying I used isn't the 'technical' Lannister one, but it's the more popular one in Westeros, so I went with that.)

Cuteness is Coming!
I absolutely LOVE Game of Thrones!! Who doesn't right? Dragons, ice zombies, castles, kings, epic wars, awesome swords... it's pretty much everything amazing all rolled up into one. I've also read all the books... no worries, no spoilers here. :) But you will find some cute takes on the House sigils.

LoCUTEus of Borgi
Another Megacon print, and this is for all you Star Trek fans out there! And for all of you non-Trekkers, I'll explain. :) There is an awesome episode of Next Generation where Captain Picard is assimilated into the Borg. His new Borg identity is Locutus of Borg.
You mix a little cute in there and you get....Lo-CUTE-us of Borgi!

Resistance to cuddles is futile!
I really wanted to do a Corgi piece for a long time, so this made me super happy! It did pretty well too, so that was also a plus. The print is available in my Etsy store!
Some Megacon Artwork
I've been so busy lately with everything, I completely forgot to post all the artwork I created for Megacon a few months back.
My fiancee Brian bought a booth for Megacon and invited my friend Caley and I to share the space and try to sell some of our art! It was a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun. And the plus side was I came out of it with a WHOLE BUNCH of new, cute art! I just totally forgot to post them here for anybody to see! I know, I know, I'm really great with the whole publicity thing....

Bubo!!!!
So the July theme for an artist blog I take part in was 'Golden', and (go figure, nerdy me) the first thing I went to was Bubo, the little golden mechanical owl sidekick from the 1981 original Clash of the Titans. One of my favorite movies: Ray Harryhausen was a genius. So: Bubo! I cutened him up a bit too, so he's extra happy to help Perseus out!

Giles Bananafordshire
Inspired by an awesome Twitter conversation, I now introduce you to Giles Bananafordshire, the best monkey butler known to man. He enjoys wearing tiny monkey-sized hats, and his greatest ambition is to replace Alfred in Wayne Manor, which, I think we can all agree, would be pretty awesome. Batman needs a monkey assistant.

Sir Alouicious Hoppington III
I'm not dead! Really! I swear!
I did this little doodle for another art blog I (try to) participate in, and I loved him so much I decided to post him on my own blog as well. I tried to focus on weight and anatomy a little more than my normal more cartoony rabbits, so hopefully that comes across a little here. I like him!

Happy 2012!!!!!
I started off the new year right! I made this little sketch and watercolor of a pug for a friend of mine who has one of the cutest pugs in the whole wide world, named Goblin. (The other one is named Ollie!) It was a late Christmas present, and I am super happy with how it turned out. I haven't done a watercolor since college, so I was pretty nervous sitting down to start it, but as luck would have it I didn't totally screw it up. Yay!!! I hope to do more this year, since it was super fun to do and also fairly quick and relaxing. It's nice to do something old school every now and then. :)
