This post is dedicated to my good friend Lisa, who gave me the idea of doing a black cat. To which I said, 'Duh! Why hadn't I thought of that before?' It's only one of the most iconic Halloween things ever. And I shall name him Walter.My goal today was to be a little more stylish and less cute, just to shake things up a little bit. I like the color scheme and the composition, and there are certain things about the cat I love, like the whiskers, the eyes and the tail. The body was driving me crazy, and I'm still not sure that I hit on *quite* the right shape. But at least it was a little experimenting on my part. I'll have to practice more elegant styles in the future so I can get a little better at it.
